Welcome to CrunchCreations and our new look.   In this web site,  you will find interesting discussions an ideas on how to build and maintain sustainable communities, both urban and rural.   Due to major shortages of gas,  and other fossil fuels,   delivery of food to your supermarket from thousands of miles away,  are going to eventually undergo some major changes,   significant price increases,   delayed deliveries and empty store shelves.

I’m going to be presenting ideas our society is going to have to deploy for a sustainable food transport system we can build today with existing technology.

Energy generation and storage systems have to be researched and deployed.   New development and research on new and efficient energy storage like Ultra Capacitors developed at MIT is now just 2 years away from going to market.    They promise phenomenal increase in Watt Hour storage,   which they say can propel an electric car for more then 400 miles,   and charging times are significantly faster.

I’m not even going to talk about our abysmal train system,   but I have a very long term solution for long distant travel using electric vehicles.

Our goals are to provide a venue for discussion of these ideas,  and how we can build home generating systems using Solar,  Wind,   Steam or flowing water.
